Pad Size

I just bought a PC and was contemplating what size pad I should get. I've read many different viewpoints. From what I can tell, it seems like the 5.5" pads are the way to go. If the PC can get bogged down by the 6.5" pads then why are all the kits sold with 6.5" pads?

Re: Pad Size

5.5" in pads are for paint correction mainly because like you said its not as hard for the pc to spin it.The pads go higher then 6.5".I guess 6.5 is like the happy medium.I personally have all 5.5" pads and it was fine with me but i guess if you work on trucks or SUV's it would be a good idea to possibly go up to a 6.5.just my $.02
