Re: UDM Reliability?

I've had my UDM for close to year now, and only used it twice; the second time two nights ago. So far, nothing has gone wrong with it. In fact, I'm happy that it (along with the polishes I used) managed to get rid of a scratch on the top surface of my trunk.

I hope I don't experience the problems some of the others here have experienced; particularly the drop in RPMs. What does an RPM drop feel like? Does it simply not move as much?

Re: UDM Reliability?

I had mine from the first batch and it lasted me about 6 mo, the backing plate came off, a retainer broke, not allowing the backing plate to stay secure, thankfully nothing got damage. I called the company and they replaced it right away. Let's say I got a hold of them on a Thursday, by Wednesday I had a brand new one (or maybe refurbish, but it looked new, sealed box w/new pad, switch fixed, bag and everything) and so far everything works fine, it's even better than the first one I got. The best part was that I didn't have to send mine in, so now I have a disable one that would work if I can find the retainer to fix it. Their Customer Service is top notch, go ahead and contact them with your issues and you won't be disappointed
