Menzerna Polishing Compounds of Germany has set new standards for workability, uniformity, performance, and quality. Why else would Mercedes Benz use Menzerna polishes to perfect the finishes on their brand new vehicles?

Re: UDM Reliability?

I have had mine from the first batch and it has performed flawlessly.Only problem was the switch issue that has been fixed .Customer service has been top notch.I have a PC7336 that is not setup up for carpet duty,A PC 7428 Rotary and a flex 3401 that I use for paint corrections. The UDM is for tight areas and LSP application.I would recommend it.

Re: UDM Reliability?

Used it for the second time this weekend and the arbor fell out and the unit is completely dead. Wish I had gone with the PC and not allowed myself to get caught up in the latest and greatest game. Oh well. It is still under warranty. Guess I will see what they do for me. Hopefully the service is better than the product.

Re: UDM Reliability?

Hi I'm new here, bought UDM with a host of Pinnacle XMT, Wolfgang products for my 07 Shelby GT/SC Black. First time spent 7 hours wash, clay, xmt 3, xmt1, wolgang deep gloss and Pinnacle Souveran. Car never looked better!
Second time I used the UDM after 2 hours I noticed the RPMS dropping with setting at #5, shut off the machine and call AG and they took it back for a refund so went for the Flex..... I hope I made the right choice!!
Thanks AG
Louie

One of the two I ordered did the same thing. At first I thought it was a wiring issue because you could jiggle the cable and it would come back to life. Then once I thought I had that cured, you could have it running at a great pace and the rpm's would slowly start to decline until it went dead. Called Dwayne, sent it back, and got things squared away towards a PC. Always count on the customer service at AG! If you have a problem, address it with them first before letting aggravation get the best of you. You'll be happy in the long run.

Car looks great, my UDM is fine but I'm just scared it might die on me.

I hear you on that...I only hope that if it does, it's still under warranty.

Couldnt find the instructions on how to change the switch online. An employee dropped it, cracked the front case, and now the switch is all goofed up. Since THAT wont be covered under warranty, Im trying to see if I can fix it
