Poorboys SSR1 TURNS MY WHTE PADs PINK!!!

Like the title says,

SSR1 turns my white pads PINK!! Snappy pad cleaner, and XMT cleaner don't seem to even phase the pink colour on my white pad. I may just use this pad exclusively for SSR1, but does the colour change affect it's effectiveness?

What color car are you working on ?

Yeah, you now have a pad dedicated to SSR1 . It is stained but after washing it will be clean, so it is still just as effective as before. If you really want the stain out .... good luck. Soaking the pad for a few days in oxy clean or APC didn't do much. But if you have enough pads its good to have dedicated pads for certain tasks.

Well that's good to hear from the PB "SSR master" eh Budman? Well I guess the pink pad will be my go to pad for SSR1.

had the same problem! I scrubbed and scrubbed but it was still pink. I just now know to use that one with the SSR1. speaking of which that stuff is amazing

Color change in pad wont effect its use. I use the DP Pad cleaner and works extremely well while pads are damp. Once a pad has been washed and dried sometimes the stains are set into the pad like laundry.

My pads are discolored from SSR1 and SSR2.5 even after they were cleaned as well, but it doesn't affect the effectiveness of the pad or cause any negative effects for polishing.
