UDM review

I just came out to GA to visit (just moved to Reno, NV in July) and had an Evo friend ask me to bring out some of my new supplies to detail his new Evo. I was really excited as this was my 1st time trying out the UDM and my Menz. polishes since its snowing in Reno. Overall I am VERY impressed with the UDM. I was able to get the majority of the swirls out (this car had not seen any sort of detail since I did it by hand over a year ago...) using the UDM with CCS white pad (sometimes orange for really heavy areas) with the Menz. IP. I have a feeling that with some more practice and patience I would have been able to get all the swirls out, but he was extrememly impressed (even tiped me 20 bucks ) and so was I! I will try to post up pics when I see him again and have a camera. None the less look for pics of my Evo fully detailed come spring! Have a safe and happy new years all!

No I was not. I actually have a Chicago rotary and just wasn't sure on how to use a polisher that well, so I went ahead and bought the UDM when the 15% off sale was going on and LOVE IT! I see what everyone means when they say the UDM/PC lacks the power to get out heavy swirls though.

Re: UDM review

Good To Hear The Udm Works As Good As They Claim. I Just Picked One Up With The 15% Sale Too, Still Waiting For It But I'm Not In A Rush It's Snowed Here Today And Looks Like More For Tomorrow.
