Counterweight ?

Just got my new 7424 in and I noticed it has the counterweight that says for 5 inch only, I am getting the Edge 2K setup and wonder if I need to get the 6 inch counterweight.

5" CW for the E2K 6" pads
7".5" & up,then you would need to go with the 6" counter weight

btw,The PC7336 comes with a 6" Counter weight

You will be fine with your 5 in counterweight and the Edge2000 pads. No worries my friend! Enjoy!

I use the 5" counter weight with Edge pads. No problem. The system makes it soooo easy to center the pad, it's great.

Supposedly a 6 in. counterweight with the Edge 2000 pads is a very SMOOTH combination. Just food for thought.

You will probably not need it. I don't know where they sell the 6 in. counterweight, but the 5 in is only 4 bucks @ AG. http://www.autogeek.net/pccw.html
I guess for 4 bucks, it might not hurt to try.

Not that I dont want you to come shopping at our car care play house, but you really dont need the other counter weight! Honest, I have tried it both ways, I cant tell the difference... Save your money and buy yourself some of the XMT Pad Conditioner, great stuff!

Cool thanks for the info. I think I am getting pad cleaner and conditioner in the Edge 2k kit. But there are plenty of other items I need.
