how thin is thin?

i bought a jar of souveran paste wax. ive used it on 2 cars so far and it is amazing. just 1 question...i know the key is to use very thin layers, but how thin is thin? for the previous cars, i can barely see the wax except under certain angles. is this too thin a layer? i put 2 layers on, so if each individual layer is too thin, maybe both combined will be enough?

thanks

As thin as you can get it and still cover the paint. Sometimes a wax or sealant is hard to see. It depends on the product and color of the paint.

so thin you can barely see the 1st application...then apply a second layer for even coverage

If you circle the top of the Souveran more than 3 times, youve used to much per panel. Remember WOWO also !

For paste waxes, I prime my pad with 3 swipes, and start with the hood since it's a really big panel. Sometimes I even do the fenders without swiping the pad. To check if there's wax on the panel, I wax the panel again without swiping the pad in the tub and feel if it's slick or not with the pad.
