Pinnacle Wheel Gel - Not so gel

Just received my first order of Pinnacle wheel gel. I decided to give it a try after using P21s wheel gel.

First thing I noticed is that the Pinnacle wheel gel isn't a gel at all .. its a liquid (more like water than a gel).

What's up with that .. Am I missing something ??

Pinnacles wheel cleaner, is thicker than a liquid. Infact, it resembles the P21S Gel very well. All are more like thick toilet bowl cleaners. They cling for a while longer than typical liquid products.

Thanks killr .. not what the customer service folks told me. Pinnacle wheel gel definitely thinner (less viscosity) than P21s wheel gel.

Oh well .. lesson learned. Thanks for the reply.

One major difference in these two products is that the P21S Gel, although a thicker viscosity, is oxygen activated and requires 15 minutes to 2 hours of dwell time on the wheel (per the directions on the bottle) to clean heavily soild wheels. The thicker viscosity gel is needed if you need the product to stay on the surface of the wheel for up to 2 hours.

The Pinnacle Gel Wheel Cleaner, while being completely safe for all wheels, has fast-acting cleaning agents that do not require an extended dwell time on the surface of the wheel.

I hope this helps explain why the P21S Gel needs to be thicker, so it will stay on the wheel longer.

Dwayne
