Dude, you really need to try Souveran paste for yourself, on BLACK paint...
Then see the difference for yourself...

I would like to know which Sourveran wax is recommended for silver metalic paint? (If I read correctly, it is the liquid version).

actuallly the newer SSII looks better on silver. Trust me, I have actually used it , showed it, and actually had a silver car prior. LS is nice, but the pastes are much better looking and go a long way !

Ive had a rather hard time with whites as they fail to show "dripping wet" status. I do like the UPP/Souveran combo as well as Gary's recent LS thread on whites. I am kinda glad I dont deal with white to often.

Killr, your car looks great. I presume you use Souveran paste wax. I have a silver car and was wondering if the paste would be best if I want the wet look. I have used the liquid souveran and the results are very good, not as fantastic as what you have achieved. One question I have is when I apply the liquid Souveran to my car and allow it to sit for a while, I notice that the wax is still slightly greasey. Should I allow the liquid wax to dry longer before hand polishing?

Here's a few pics of Pinnacle Signiture Series vs Liquid Souveran on dark silver.

Signitures Series:

Liquid Souveran:

Both look very good but I like Signiture Series a little better on silver.

Liquid Souveran is very nice on white:
