Hello All

I'm a new member who just aquired a 1979 Lincoln town Car with only 5k miles on it. It is black (no clear coat) and although it was stored indoors it has alot of hairline scratches on thr sides under certain lights. I am apprehensive about using a orbital polisher as I don't want to make things worse. I have no experience using a polisher. What do you suggest? All advice would be appreciated.

Hey Lincoln79, welcome to the forums. A lot of people would suggest the Porter Cable, which is sold on autogeek.net with various kits. I don't have experience with a PC (porter cable) but I plan to buy one sometime this year, hopefully soon. Paint Care & Detailing I think this is a great tutorial site on detailing. Go to the videos page and it will show you how to use the PC.
