Extra Coats Of Souveran Wax......

i applyed a coat of souveran paste to the truck a few days ago. and i know the durability of this wax isnt very good .but what if i put another coat on this week and one more next week with that give me alot better durability? i know layering with other waxes will. but not sure about souveran.

Re: Extra Coats Of Souveran Wax......

Personally, I haven't noticed a "big" increase in durability, with any wax based on multiple coats.

Re: Extra Coats Of Souveran Wax......

use the soap for washing and the spray wax booster, you'll see a month to six weeks of protection. Of course, adding another layer is darn easy and takes only ten minutes.

Re: Extra Coats Of Souveran Wax......

I always loved applying extra coats of Souveran, not just for the added shine/durability, but also because it's a very relaxing experience. Can't say that about too many other products!

I'm guessing you just apply it and wipe off? No allowing it to haze or anything?

Re: Extra Coats Of Souveran Wax......

your better off just applying it every 2 weeks then every weekend. The wax lasts about 2 weeks. Iv never been able to get the 4-6 weeks from it
