| | | Souveran on Orange I have a 2007 Harley Road Glide that I am am considering using Souveran Paste on. I see that it says great for Red and Black, My orange is what Harley calls Mirage Orange Pearl and is a very bold orange color. Will this wax look good on it? Any one use it on something other than Red or Black?
Thanks |

| | | Re: Souveran on Orange Is the color anything close to the orange vette on the Souveran product page? Yeah, it will look good... real good.
If the "pearl" indicates it has metalic flake, you may want to consider SSII instead. Just depends on whether you want to showcase the flakes or the color. |

But, if you have Souveran, go for it! |

| | | Re: Souveran on Orange Souveran is "best" on yellows, blacks and reds as paint is already quite reflective. That doesnt mean it wont work wonders on metallic, but some prefer the additional polymers added to waxes like SSII in order to almost amplify the metallic count. |

| | | Re: Souveran on Orange For what it's worth, I LOVE Souveran on my metallic black black. I've used MaxWax and it does add more pop to the flakes but I personally prefer the look Souveran gives... about 3 miles deep and dripping wet. |

Pinnacle Sig Series II is great on metallics... Tons of depth in the shade... Yet full of flake pop in direct sun...

No it is really orange: This is it:: http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...k/DSC01139.jpg
Thank you all for the replies. It has a pearl not a flake. You dont see it unless you are very close and in the sun. Otherwise it just looks orange.
Thanks again, |

| | | Re: Souveran on Orange There's not much paint on a motorcycle soooo if you use Souveran and it isn't giving you the look you want you can always try another wax the next time. My guess is that Souveran will give it a nice wet reflection.
Heck I can think of worse ways to spend some time than waxing my bike.
