souveran paste wax over wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0???
so i detailed my car to perfection last week. i did a coat of wolfgang sealeant, let it cure for 12 hours then used a coat of souveran paste wax which i love. anyway i use a pressure washer to wash my car and i feel like i just blew all the souveran paste wax off the car, i had to wash it after cuz i used m101 and it dusted it was all over everything.
so my theory is that the pinnacle souveran wont stick to the wolfgang dgps? do u think thats right? i mean they even say in thier marketing that nothing will stick to the sealant, they are talking about dirt and such but still. i dont think the wax can stick to it either

Wax over sealant has been the norm for a long time. How many psi did you crank it up to? You can blow off paint with a pw much less a coat of wax.

What made you come to the conclusion that the wax is not there anymore?

I am curious as well, PS isn't known for longetivity but it certainly can last one wash.

I could suspect such, and such is probably common sense, Mike Phillips would also agree, that one probably cannot expect many things to bond to a sealant, let alone a coating.
I figger, that for some time after the sealant, and yeah, your paint might start looking a little cruddy, any product you come behind with will probably erase some of the nasty road grimes, dirts, oils-greases, and rejuvenate the paint a bit.
I've seen that for 45 years.
But you might not exactly see much benefit from the layering. And in truth, does it really matter? LOL
You know us detail folks want to put a new product every other day! :-)

Why is it that it a theory can be
proven false...but never true?

I remember being taught that an observation
can be used to prove a theoretical statement...
provided one can write it in the following form:
"If, and only if, theory X is true,
then you will observe Y".
The problem that arises, though, is justifying
the "and only if" part of the statement;
because, how can we know that there is not an
alternative that has not been thought of yet?

The wax bonds to the sealant just fine.

Of course wax sticks to the sealant. If nothing sticks to sealant than you only need to apply sealant and never ever wash your car again. A power wash will not remove the wax from the sealant. Just wash as normal and reapply the wax every three weeks.

EDIT: You know what...take a look at post #10. That poster mentioned something I noticed at first reading, but failed to take a 2nd look to see if what I read was indeed what was written...it was. That's why the wax fell off the car (LOL)...sounds like you compounded both the wax and the sealant off.

Not sure I'm understanding. You compounded after you sealed and waxed?
