paint clensing lotion for wax removal?

bought a 2014 Subaru that has the plastic trim and roofrack that looks like it has some old wax on it. Woundering if pinnacle paint clense lotion will remove it and give back the factory color? Ive got some but have not had time to test it out.
What are your thoughts? Maybe top off with 303 protectant for UV protection?
    Thanks for your input.

I would NOT use the Pinnacle paint cleanser, I think that may just add to your problem.

If you have some Pinnacle APC I would try that with a toothbrush, diluted according to bottle directions. The followup with the 303 is a good idea, although it's not the longest lasting exterior product.

There is a recent thread about the pinnacle paint cleanser staining trim.

I'm not sure if I saw that thread, I just want to point out that most products in the "pre-wax paint cleanser" category have ingredients that can stain trim, this isn't something peculiar to the Pinnacle product.

Use a fine cut finishing polish and forget pre wax cleaners. HD polish, McKees polish, just to name two.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

They used to sell a Duragloss wax remover product here that was like a shoe polish bottle, but they don't seem to carry it anymore. As I noted before, some APC and a soft brush or toothbrush should take it off.

Some coatings recommend these cleaners before applying.

If you don't need to polish, why use an abrasive when you can use a non-abrasive to do the job?

A good APC to clean the trim and then follow with a trim protectant / restorer product. DO NOT use a PAINT cleaner on non painted plastic trim. Paint cleaners are specifically forumated for use on painted surfaces only!
