Absolutely though some German cars break A LOT. I speak from experience. | Some VW's are very cheap looking. One of my neighbors have had nothing but problems with hers. VW also owns Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley just to name a few. It does not mean that all their makes and models are cheap. |

Not looking to start a war here, just voicing my opinion. There is only one American sportscar that I would purchase and that's a Viper. | I know your not not trying to start a war P1et and I respect your opinion. In my opinion there are cheap cars both domestic and foreign and there are good cars both domestic and foreign. If someone likes a foreign car I think they should buy it. I have both domestic and foreign cars. I buy cars based on how the look and feel to me. I don't care where they are made. |

It does not mean that all their makes and models are cheap. | Even better example for German cars feeling cheap, Benz's and BMW's have not only way more issues then they used to, but just do not feel as solid, heck close the door on a late 80's early 90's Benz and it slams with a thunk like a Bentley or Rolls and car feels as solid as a tank. BMW's new interiors especially the 3 series are harder and cheaper. E55 was in the shop more then my driveway. And if you really want to see somebody pissed off in their German car, take a ride in my friends 750 and listen to him curse the i-drive/nav unit, 1 year so far and no dealership has been able to fix the glitches that car has, replacing the unit did not help, he punched it one night lol. Funny part was he went from a 745 plagued with problems, to a 750 plagued with problems, not really mechanically moreso all the electronic gizmos. Quote:

They obviously do not understand the purpose of the car nor have the balls and aren't worthy enough of the privledge lol, if Dodge put woodgrain and 10 cupholders and fancy looking trim in it I'd castrate the CEO. Or how about "I thought about the GT3 but it drives to harsh for me" whaaaaat, idiots, go back to your cushy Escalade lol, you deserve to be donkey punched.
And forgot, as far as Japanese, sisters 1st car was an Acura TL-Type S back when they came out years ago, I think it went through 3 transmissions in less then 20K miles b/c Honda put a tranny in that couldn't support the power of a friggen Civic, and it was a rattle trap.

| | My buddy is letting me borrow his F30 for a week to "test it out" before I make my decision. I have driven both AMs Vantage and DB9, the vantage is amazing but I feel like AM retarded its performance so it wouldn oust the DB9. I really liked both but its not as raw as the F430. I guess if I wanted raw I would go for a Viper . I might go check out the 08 Vipers just for safe measure?
Ill report back.

Ill report back. | The Vantage is a little down on power and performance compared to competitors, should have injected it with a little more "mojo". DB9 is pry the best sport/gt type car, extremely comfortable yet drives great, and the sound of the exhaust when opened up is to die for, nevermind sexy looking as hell. Who would have thought two Ford V6 blocks stuck together would create a hell of an engine lol. The Viper, is like banging the hottest stripper at the club, wild animal , and it stomps on the F-cars at Moroso and Sebring here with a good driver, problem is people feel uncomfortable pushing it hard b/c of no save your butt gizmo's and it drives just like a race car, you have to have smooth and solid inputs in turns, start jerking around and you'll be heading towards the wall , true drivers car.
But for what your looking for, I'd say the DB9 rocks. And if you can, find one with the 6 speed manual, very rare but match made in heaven with that engine. Personally, I'd take an Gallardo anyday over an F430, look at at least an 06+ as slight power increase and better gearing, night and day difference compared to an 04/05, sharper gearing really wakes the car up.
