As many of you know, I’ve just gotten back from Georgia and driving around and seeing so many dirty cars, well, it just made me sick! Those of you that know me know that I have a love for music and so I decided to put my feelings to words and write a little song for ya. Hope you like it! J The sun comes up and I see you there, Alone and unprotected and in need of care, As for age, you’re not much older than mine, But neglect has cut you down right in your prime. Brake dust and road grime, Bugs and tree sap, Mud and tar And buttloads of bird crap. On the wind I can hear your cries… “somebody please get me some AG supplies!!” Oh it should be a crime, That you sit in filth all the time. CHORUS: Oh whoa dirty cars, Near and far, My heart breaks every time I see you. Dirty cars, You’d shine like the stars, If only I could spend some time and clean you. I see you and imagine how good it could be, With just you and me and some stuff from AG. I’d wash you and dry you and use clay for your tar, And some poorboys to take away all of your scars. Some Wolfgang to seal your paint up tight, And a Souveran blanket to keep you warm at night. Some wax for your wheels and a little Ragg Topp, And a layer of QD to make your paint POP. Some gel for your tires to make them shine, Oh how I wish that you were mine! Some carpet cleaner and some Fabprotex, I’d give you all of the very best! Some 303 and some invisible glass, Oh why is your owner such an ass?? I’d love to glaze your lines, If you were only mine Oh whoa dirty cars, Near and far, My heart breaks every time I see you. Dirty cars, You’d shine like the stars, If only I could spend some time and clean you. Maybe some day my wish will come true, And I’ll bring out the best in you. If your owner would only pay my supplies, I’d gladly end all of your cries, It’s just so wrong, it’s so unfair, You deserve the best of care, If your owner won’t treat you right, I’ll come and wash you in the night. You should stall on 95, Maybe then he’d realize, Oh whoa dirty cars, Near and far, My heart breaks every time I see you. Dirty cars, You’d shine like the stars, If only I could spend some time and clean you Maybe some day you’ll get what you deserve, Instead of being constantly layered in turd, I wish you joy, I wish you the best, I wish some day that your wheels will be dressed. I wish you long life, I wish you fun, I wish some day you’ll see a foam gun I wish you protection from the heat, I wish your owner wasn’t such a dead beat. I truly wish you all the best, And that some day you’ll be at Detailfest! Oh whoa dirty cars, Near and far, My heart breaks every time I see you.
