Can I wax wooden furniture?

I want to wax my wooden furniture is this a good idea? Meaning will it harm the wood?

Here's the waxes I was thinking of using:

Megs #16
S100
Pete's 53
Mothers Ca Gold Pure Nuba (no cleaner)
Collinite 476
Collinite 845

What about sealants... will they work well on wood furniture?

Gracias!

Great idea I think (specially carnauba), though don't really know if it would harm the wood, but as carnauba is a "natural" wax I think it wouldn't.

Yes..you can use wax on wooden Furniture..I do my oak stuff with wax....with the stuff you jave I would use the S100....it has a few oils in it plus beeswax....both will be good ....

sealants can be tricky..some may whiten up in the grain when dried ...so would not really use it...I do use AW on wood...but not a sealant like WG..Upp..as I said it may fill grain in whiten like chips on a hood

Hmmm, I have a surplus of OCW... I bet that would work as well!!

I love AW too much on paint to put it on my furniture!! OCW on the other hand I can spare!

Hmmm, maybe some s100 topped with OCW.. boy this is going to be fun!!

This winter while the snow is keeping me off of paint as often as I would like I think I am going to detail everything else possible!!!

I have a wood/glass table from crate and barrel, the frame is wood the center is glass, I think some sealant on the glass, s100 and OCW on the wood... may be too slippery to set anything on but sure will look nice

Al & Surfer thanks for the info!

Any one else care to chime in with your stories would be great as well

I use my PC to wax furniture!

That was the second time my family hid it from me. THey walked in with groceries and saw me waxing away with the PC They jumped me and hid my PC for a month

I got it back tho and then I sealed the bathrooms

Now I am using it in the dorm! It is an awesome cleaning instrument! Cleaning and sealing the bathroom is soooo easy now ^^

I wield the mighty WMD PC like no other

Believe it or not, but I used Pinncale Souveran paste on on wooden furniture! I loved the way it looked, but it is too pricey fro furniture. Out of all those, I'd use Pete's 53...don't even know why...

I am so interested in your illness!!!

What pad are you using for the bathroom detail? Are you using the white pad that comes with the PC?

What are you using to clean the bathroom, an AIO?

I have been thinking of using 101 or 105 in the bathroom to seal.

This is going to be fun!!
