Trees in front of my office.

Small (5') snake in my backyard.

Beautiful tree thanks for the pic. As for the snake... as long as I see them before I am right next to them... I am OK. But if I suddenly looked up and saw that guy... well I would do my best to slowly and calmly walk away. He looks like he might spring into action and try to have me for a snack What kind is it?

Such beautiful trees! Our tress here have fall color for a day or two. It was a high of 82 today (11/13)! Whats up with that?!

Is that really a snake in that tree? I would soil my pants if I saw that thing.

Jimmie that is just the beginning. That might be 20 to 25% of the leaves. My work has just begun

like I said, as long as I see them before I am right up on them I am OK. But that guy would have freaked me out if I suddenly looked up an saw him hanging out over my head. I grew up out in the county. I use to have to pick them up and move them when I would mow the grass. I got to the piont I would not use a stick to move them. I would just grab them by the tail and fling them out of the way. The only thing you would have to worry about in Ohio is a rare rattle snake and a very rare water moccasin... those guys are mean!!!! Oh yeah... copper heads too! Good rule of thumb is to stay away from any water snake.
From the looks of that guy... I think I would leave him alone.

heheheh hahahahaha Sure...I have heard of Lima. I grew up in an even smaller town just down the road from you. Have you ever heard of Bethel, just out side of Tipp City. A really small town, I think Bethel has 3 traffic lights now. Whitethunder is very close to where I live now!

He's just a blacksnake, good guy. We do have lots of copperheads, though. I originally found the snake when I lifted the cover of the hottub and he was laying under it. That was kind of a surprise. He crawled out into the tree you see in the picture.

You have to be kidding me! You found him in you inside the hot tub or under the hot tub structure? Either way... I don't think I would be going in the hot tube first I bet that was "kind of a surprise" !!!!
