Body Builders or Fitness FREAKS?

Im an active member of BodyBuilding.com and i was just curious if any of you guys are into bodybuilding or atleast fitness freaks.

Any of you take suppleemnts? what do you guys take?

I was 280-285lbs in 2006...i gained 60lbs since high school (2004)and i needed to lose weight. I was 38%bodyfat in HS and i dont even want to know what i was last year (probably 99%)

anways, started dieting In January/February and lost 30+lbs (currently 252.5) and am now at 23% body fat. I bodybuild religiously as do i with auto detailing. I...like most bodybuidlers do different cylces..cut/bulk/pct etc...

not to mention i was getting so damn exhuasted from detailing and i knew i needed a change in order to make my business successfull, not to mention to extend my life

I'll post before n after pix of myself

tell us your stories and for those who bodybuild...why do u do it!

-neil

I don't bodybuild since I can't build mass for the life of me. I lifted every day for a year, concentrating on different muscle groups each day, drinking protein shakes, eating tons, etc. and I gained about 4 lbs of muscle. I was way more cut, but no bulk. I am a distance runner, so I was tall and skinny to start, and that's how it's going to stay, I think.

So I gave up and started cycling a bunch, which was a lot more fun for me. Just keep at it, you're making good progress and think about how much of that fat you have converted to muscle already!

I used to lift weights when in college, but since I have a desk job now and sit inside all day, what I love to do most is grab my bike and kane it around for a few hours.

Twice a week in the gym. In and out early. These two sessions include aerobic stuff (eliptical machine) for 30 minutes each time). This is not enough but better than no exercise. The minimum is suppose to be four 30 minute aerobic sessions a week.
