| I don't bodybuild since I can't build mass for the life of me. I lifted every day for a year, concentrating on different muscle groups each day, drinking protein shakes, eating tons, etc. and I gained about 4 lbs of muscle. I was way more cut, but no bulk. I am a distance runner, so I was tall and skinny to start, and that's how it's going to stay, I think.
So I gave up and started cycling a bunch, which was a lot more fun for me. Just keep at it, you're making good progress and think about how much of that fat you have converted to muscle already!
