One of the only modern rap groups I like is Jedi Mind Tricks, have a mix cd with a bunch of their older songs and some newer. I think I have a clip of Pennywise singing Gin and Juice, does that count

as a matter of fact, hip hop doesnt even exist these days, its ALL complete CRAP
ive listened to hip hop since I was like 12, and I stand by this statement. |  It's all "I have money and chicken heads" and thats it and they just repeat that same crap over and over. I don't like the new rock either, to me the last great rock album was Metallica's Black cover. Guess I just prefer the older stuff.

The singer for Trivium sounds almost like Hetfield and they have sick guitar work.
If you have a good tolerance for screaming vocals, I'd also recommend Dark Tranquility and In Flames for some awesome Scandinavian melodic metal. You Viking guys know how to rock!

i was thinkin about it but i guess i forgot or something i dunno... that was a crazy weekend 
the show was opened by ozomatli, then G.love and special sauce played a full set and slightly stoopid played a full set... im now incredibly envious of where your at though. i always knew you were in boca, but i didnt know the area at all... i LOVED it! and the next weekend i went to south beach, ohhhhh man!!!!ill be back soon for sure | | |
