| | | Wow, I sure learned a lot from this thread. Clearly there are MANY(if not all) intelligent people here. Let's not judge one's intelligence on years of college----that could bite you in the arse someday. I agree with many points made here on both sides of the discussion----they're all good, and all have the right to fight for what they believe in----AND speak their mind about it!! Saying you are more intelligent than someone else without knowing anything about them is arrogance, not intelligence. Now, I've got to go read a good book, increase my knowledge, and fire up the heating pad because my back is killing me from working my ass off today!!!!! |

Now tell me to shove my education up my arse......
Oh - I'm Italian American, from Genoa. | thank goodness for Google, eh? |

oh, and I mean that about being smart | Thanks Dennis, I don't know if I'm all the smart but I try. If I am smart god deserves the credit not me. I certainly don't feel I'm better then anyone else and I try to listen to what other people have to say. One thing I know for sure is that I don't know everything.
I'm glad the strike is over. I hope everything works out for all the US Automotive Companies, shareholder's and all their workers. |

| | | I personally see strikes as a horrible way to get what you want out of life and also see Unions as a real joke with the Teacher's union being the biggest of them all, but onto GM....
I honestly believe that if our auto companies (GM/Ford/Chrystler) would just make cars that were up to par with the standards of the rest of the world, they wouldn't be in the shithole they are today. Truth be told, China won't even accept our cars because they get such horrible gas mileage. I honestly believe if they start making cars that are we well made as European/Japanese cars, they would be thriving. |

| | | Do they still put the stickers on cars showing what percent of parts are made in the U S? Dont get me started on what we pay cops, firefighters, and teachers in this country. This whole country needs a gut check... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
