Jeep SRT-8

I'm not kidding, this thing is one of the most fun vehicles I've driven. Always liked it, but borrowed my friends the other day and honestly, its a blast. Serious modern day muscle car, exactly what it feels like. Everything from the brakes to the handling is top notch, you would not believe how hard you can whip it into corners that would have something like the X5 screaming for mercy lol. My buddy has had a couple modded Cayenne Turbo's and loves the Jeep over the Cayennes, sure the Cayenne has it beat in interior refinement, but the personality and feel of the Jeep blows away the Cayenne. 09' Jeep may have a 500 hp Hemi as well. He has headers/intake/exhaust/tuner and the truck just rips.

Everytime I'm in it I want one , we've owned plenty of sports cars and race as well, still cannot get over how fun this truck is.

It certainly is one wicked looking SUV, love the what Jeep did with it. They are clueless it looks like with all their other Jeeps/SUVs/whatever, but this nailed this one on the head. Awesome stuff!

Yeah, they hit a homer with that one, IMO. Haven't driven one but you make it sound fun.

I'm telling you, drive one , I drove it hard the other day and it was just begging for more. Whats crazy is even with the awd and weight being an suv, the gearing really helps b/c its not much slower then the SRT Charger/300C, up to 100 it feels the same if not quicker, off the line it rips like a rocket. The engine is a gem, you'll never get tired of that growl.

Funny part is guess I'm not alone b/c even on the Porsche forums, guys that have gone from their Cayennes and even build race cars that now own the SRT-8 Jeep are amazed with how much fun it is.

I am currently saving for a used one and I hope to have one maybe in about a year and a half.

What do you think insurance will be on a 500hp AWD jeep for a 24 year old??
