Add me to the list! I almost got the 2006 Gto, the "American Monaro!" Insurance would have been too costly for a young male driver.

My sister has a 2005 one, it is very fun for what it is! Nothing like 400hp for $34,000, my Audi is 200hp for the same price.

Actually the .05 model has the LS-1(5.7) versus LS-2(6.0), and 350HP. The offered the hood (ram air) mid year as dealer installed option to induce some sales as they slowed completely upon finding out a hp upgrade was coming. I hear GM may axe the 2008 upgrade as sales once again have trickled and GM has greenlighted the Camaro replacement. They have been selling here for 29k out the door with 0% financing.

It is the 2004 that has the LS1, the LS2 comes standard in the 2005, and 2006. The 2005 was kicked off with the dual exhaust, ram air hood, and the new LS2.

Not sure about the the meaning of the "air ram" (i assume it means the twin bonnet scoops) anywho if it we had it come out in the 04 model, as far as the LS2 that was indded the 05 as it was introduced to the HSV models aswell. You lot may wanna look out for the new aloyteck engine that will be release here later this year, it has the same kind of workings as your chrysler 300c where at cruising speed it drops a few cylinders but when at high speed it uses al 8 cylinders, this technolagy is the 1st for the aussie cars and holden BEAT fraud hahahahahahahahaha
