No Concours this year

I submitted my car to the Dallas Jaguar Concours last September and posted the results here on this forum. I've been waiting all year for the event and I received the invite in the mail a couple of days ago. As I started to fill out the form I came to the sad realization that it is on Yom Kippur. Well, I figure if Sandy Kofax didn't play in the World Series due to Yom Kippur then I sure can't enter a car show.

Apparently I'm the token Jew in the club

There is a show in Austin in October so maybe I'll enter that one.

Just thought I would post too vent.

Just be a rebel like me, I'm half/half and could careless, I want meat I'll eat meat, I want to drive I'll drive .....just go to the show with your Yamaha, I mean Yamica (yes I used to call it a Yamaha when I was little lol)

That stinks! Bad enough you can't eat all day.

I used to enter my car in a particular local car show every year. Then all of a sudden one year they changed the date to Father's Day. My dad's not interested remotely in spending the day checking out cars. So, I had to stop going.
