Pic Help Please, Aaaaaarg

Time wasted again today trying to upload pics to share a "show and shine". Can't seem to get them to upload to Photobucket or AG Gallery. My uneducated guess is that they are too big (pixels). Do you guys take pics at a smaller setting on your camera? This is why no reviews or S & S's.
signed,
really, really frustrated.

Don't change the settings on the camera...if you are running XP the easiest is to use Windows Power Toys image resizer to resize your images. You can get it here:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (about half way down)

Once you install it just right click on the image and resize to your desired size.

Welcome to my past life. I know it is frustrating as heck. What happens when you go to up load to photobucket? I will do my best to help.

blkyukon- Thank you. I've got Windows Vista. I did a search to see if there were Power Toys for Vista. Doesn't look like it yet. On a side note I really like your new tutorials on your website. Nice.
Mike T- Thank You . I put the site in my favorites and going to play around with it. Fingers crossed.

Your welcome. Its a great site. I resize the images there and then upload them to Photobucket.com You can even crop the images the way you want on that site.

The little green progress line at the bottom of my computer says "done".
Then I wait forever for Photobucket to do something. It says uploading 0%. After quite awhile there may be like 1/3 of a pic in my album and it doesn't progress past that stage. Thanks Tonya.

Have you always used photobucket?
I know it does seem to take a lot of time.
Does it give you any error message?
Do you have all other window closed that you really don't need?
I will go out to photobucket, maybe it is there site?
