Those are both very slick little V-Dubs, I love the beetle with the roof rack.
Obviously you have that thing protected.

Sure is nice to see all the VDubs showing up lately.

My mother had a "Squareback" back in the late 60's, my wife and I drove it from Seattle to the mid-west (where we now live) to visit her folks (wifes)...that puppy was the MOST comfortable vehicle I have ever driven on a loooong distant run. Just realized, that was almost 50 years ago (LOL).

Thanks mate. Yeah she's a real sweetie, stock 1200 that purrs along nicely all day (when she gets out) got caught out in the rain that morning which i wasn't impressed about but made for a good beading shot.

Hey Bill. I had a feeling you were a VW fan.
Yep - the type 3 squareback is a fav of mine too, i have two awaiting resto - a 66 & 64. Very nice cars to drive. The type 4 isn't as nice to look at (bit ugly) but also a great ride.

Wow!, I see those cars here in Brazil but almost always very trashed from use and abuse.

Seeing them in so good shape gives me a very good feeling about their history! Congratulations on your ownership,

and you beading shot shows it's being very well cared.
