My Gig, 8/10/07.. Guest List Available

For those that didn't know I DJ electronic music.. (House, techno, TechHouse - whatever you wanna call it)

I'm playing tonight, second to close (1-2:45)

I have been so busy with my 9-5 and detailing that I haven't been promoting myself and the last gig I had was in May.. LONG TIME for me since I was playing out on an almost weekly basis.. so a little nervous - not big time I mean I've been playing for 13yrs.

Now I LOVE detailing but my DJ'ing gigs pay 4x's as much!!

If anyone is in the area (metro Detroit) and is into this kinda thing PM me and I'll guest list you.

Come on out and get your groove on!!

I used to do this also a long long time ago, it was a very fun side job for me and just like you said paid very well.

One thing is I found it hard to keep up with all the new tracks that were out when I wasnt doing it consistantly, like you said this is your first time since may, if it were me i'd be tottally out of it and I would have to spend like two hours at the record store going through all the new stuff.

Good luck to you on your return, go out there and rock it man!

Yes it is a good time.

I normally play a 2hr set, this one is a bit shorter.

I'm constantly buying music.. even so only a very small pecentage of people would even know a sinlge song that I play.. Niche market really, all vinyl as well.

Thanks!!

If I was still living in Ohio I would have come and checked you out. Back in the 1999-2001 time frame I was pretty heavily into the electronic music scene - I preferred Trance, but also listened to some breakbeat, trip-hop and house. Even attended a rave or two up in Detroit when I was in the area. How's the scene now - and where do these things take place nowadays? The ones I went to were in bombed-out warehouses and things that you could only find by standing still and listening for the bass coming out of the walls of the building

At any rate - good luck with it, and do you ever record your shows or mixes?
