Second Order Placed - arriving tomorrow!

Started innocently enough, bought a new truck (kept the last for 13 years) and decided I should take better care of the outside of this one. Hopped on Google to find some good advice on what products would be easy to use and help keep it looking nice. That's when the trouble began... enter AG.

First order consisted of some harmless goodies to beautify and protect my investment:
WGDGPS
Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay Kit
Guzzler drying towel
Klasse AIO
WG QDS
Plexus
and some applicators and MF.

The next Saturday I got up and washed the truck, applied the various creams and sprays to the new truck and WOW - it didn't look "as good as new" it looked better! Happy ending? You would think so, but...

By thay evening I was hearing the voices... very softly at first... "it could look BETTER"

Without realizing I found myself back on AGO reading posts and looking at pictures, reading reviews of products and thinking...

less than 3 weeks later I gave in to voices. Arriving tomorrow:

My PC and pad kit
Porter Cable 7424 & Foam Pad Kit - Car Buffer

More Pinnacle clay lubricant
XMT 1
XMT 360
303 Protectant
2 way mini detialing brush
Pinnacle Bug and Tar sponge
All White ShMitt
and some PB Spray and Wipe

Will this order finally silence the voices? Will I be able to get my life back? I guess I'll have to wait and see...

Thanks. I'll try and do some pics of the products and hopefully some before and afters of the vehicles. Since I've never used a PC before, figure I'll try it out on the old truck first. I now I won't be able fix all the paint (that would take a body shop) but it should be great practice and maybe improve the looks a little.

Welcome to my world. I got a new car, and find myself here every night. I love this place! Working on my third order now. My husband thinks I am OCD about the new car and the forum. The thing is, he is right!

voices dont stop. I got new car and I am in for over $1000, have rehabbed my older car. Now I have taken to bringing back to life my family members car. Next up is my parents truck when they come into town in a couple weeks. At the same time I keep thinking I need more stuff for the new vehicle. It is a sickness, and it can't be stopped. I guess it is in all of ours nature to get this way about things. I guess if I wasn't being OCD about car detailing I would be drinking heavily, or smoking crack or something. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully this will be your last order for a while. I think you have everything you need for now.

I'm about to place my third order. The silly thing is I have yet to detail anything because I keep reading posts and deciding I can't detail yet until I have everything, uuugggghhhh ! I'll never forget the quote here after my second order, (Another Car Detailer is Born). This is fun but addicting. Thanks Autogeek and friends here !
