Re: Winter

I love the Fall and Winter for hunting and holidays. After January 1 all the snow could go away!!

I hear you. I know the mountain pass on the 15 south of here to Cali can be closed due to snow.

Driving in snow is no fun when there's idots on the road. He in So. Cal. we have great weather, but millions of idiots on the road - none of them know the meaning of proper spacing or what a slow lane is. Don't get me started when it begins to rain. Amazing that these people have a drivers license.

The one positive in this rant is that we don't have to worry so much about "winterizing" our cars and dealing with freezing conditions and road salts, etc.

Stay warm out there!

Re: Winter

I love winter, but I need for it to hold off a bit. I still need to do my winter detail.

Re: Winter

Nice photo Kevin...Post card eligible!

I'm going to miss Summer, and its natural-warmth, again; but not the insects/bugs.

My Summer's Wish: Hope I get to see many, many more of them! Bugs or no bugs.

I don't hate Winter, but I don't like it as much as I did when younger...Except for:
-The Holidays---Family & Friends; sumptious meals
-The fireplace's warmth/charm---with me Lady.

My Winter's Wish(es):
-I hope and pray the Wife gets to work and back Home safely.
-That my chestnuts don't get too roasted by the open-fire.

Bob

Thanks Bob, I do like where I live. I am with you, as a kid winter was great but now not so much. Guess I need to change my mindset, hot toddies and hot tubs!
