| New Car ..,,
Hi all, I get my license in a couple of weeks and I will be getting a 2004 audi. however, since I will be getting it, my dad might need a new car. I was thinking of these three ,I definately need AWD
2013Lincoln MKS ecoboost
2013 Ford Taurus sho with the race package (upgraded cooling and brakes, etc)
2013 Ford Fusion ecoboost
These cars all have different price ranges , I would just like input from people here

So you need AWD in the new car, or your dad does? The new car is for your dad correct?
Honestly I would opt for the SHO w/ SHO Performance Package. Have you or your dad driven one? They are an absolute blast to drive and quick as hell.
The MKS if you really want top line luxury and performance of the SHO, and then the new Fusion if you want better MPG.

The thing about the Lincoln , is that I dont really know if its worth it. My dad will still be able to use the car, but down the road when im able to drive to HS and to places, my dad will need a new car. Right now I think the Sho with the preformance package is nice, but uses alot of gas , idk if the ecoboosted fusion is good compared to the sho

The 2.0L Ecoboost in the Fusion might still be fun, just not as fun as the SHO but definitely more fun than the 1.6L Ecoboost in the Fusion.
You ever considered the Taurus with the N/A 3.5L? 1.6L Ecoboost
-FWD Only
-178hp on Premium, 173hp on Regular
-184ft/lbs
-23city/36hwy/28comb (Automatic)
-25/37/29 (Manual)
-24/37/28(Auto Start-Stop) 2.0L Ecoboost
-FWD or AWD
-240hp on Premium, 231hp on Regular
-270ft/lbs
-22/33/26 (Automatic)
-22/31/25 (Automatic AWD) 3.5L Ecoboost
-AWD
-365hp w/ Premium
-350ft/lbs
-17 city/ 25 hwy/ 20 combined 3.5L N/A
-FWD or AWD
-288hp
-254ft/lbs
-19 city/ 29 hwy/23 combined, FWD
-18 city/ 26 hwy/21 combined, AWD

How ever, this ecoboost looks really, good, high rpms good gas mileage average hp and torque. The only thing is is it worth it to spend all that money on a taurus when I could get a lincoln and same for the fusion

I would definitely recommend the 2013 Ecoboost Ford Fusion! I have seen it in person and it really is one of the most beautiful cars today! Go with the 19" wheels.

The thing is, my dad did not get much use out of his audi, he was able to walk and take a train to work and did not use it during the day. I am leaning towards the 3.5 ecoboosted sho or the ecoboosted fusion

Is your Dad looking for advice, or is he giving you free reign to choose a vehicle? Personally, having owned two Gen II SHOs, I have a soft spot for them so I'd go that route if money isn't an option and those are the choices. Having only ridden in the new SHO and MKS, and not having driven them, I can't really give true impressions of them, but they both seem very high in quality. I like the styling of the SHO a bit better, though. I haven't seen the new Ecoboost Fusions, yet.
