sriracha aka rooster sauce

For those that know all about this wonderful fire sauce, you might laugh.

if you dont know what Sriracha is.... the oatmeal has the best explanation below.
Dear Sriracha Rooster Sauce - The Oatmeal

Sriracha is a staple with many meals. Works great on the following items
- pizza
- sloppy joes
- burgers
- french fries
- white rice
- fried rice
- anything asian
- most Italian tomato pastas
- anything mexican
- adds a good kick to most BBQ sauces
... and many many more foods!

my wife actually bought me a shirt from the oatmeal, so now I can let everyone know how much I love this tasty fire sauce. it made me laugh earlier this week, as my taste buds have adapted to the heat properties, allowing me to include copious amounts of the sauce to my foods. I realized this when the french fries were being dipped with the generous, plastered coating... without hesitation to devour it's awesomeness!

anyone else a fan of Sriracha?

Except for the sugar and preservatives, it is good for your health.Capsaicin` increases the body`s metabolic rate, so we burn more energy(and therefore retain less in storage as fat).

Re: sriracha aka rooster sauce

I have a big bottle in the fridge but haven't made much time for cooking at home so it's been poured onto the "To Go Burrito". Best hot sauce out there IMO.

Re: sriracha aka rooster sauce

I pretty much use it on just about every food item. And when eating fast food tacos and burritos, I don't bother with those little sauce packets anymore. They just don't have enough flavor to match Sriracha.
