My First Spring Break

Hey guyz, I just got back yesterday from my first spring break, yes my first, usually I'm working and can't go, anyway, boy was that an experience. I consider myself I kinda low key guy, I don't party to much and don't drink or do drugs, but this was a culture shock. I left last Friday night after work at about 9:00 p.m. and me, I followed a buddy of mine, we talk back and forth the whole time on walkie talkies, we made good time, we got there about 1:00 a.m.. We were goint to stay at the Sandpiper Beacon in Panama, basically a hotel built around a bar, the Tiki Bar, I have heard about this place for years, apparently its the place to go for spring break. We were meeting friends already up there, words cannot explain this place, I felt like I was in another country, highschoolers running around everywere, if their parents only knew, everyone was either drunk or high and some were both, I mean if thats your cup of tea, okay, but not for me, so I went and got a hotel room somewhere else. Still, the trip was a blast, the famous tikki bar was crazy, I went to bed each night around 4 or 5 in the morning. The weather sucked, rain and it was cold. Never went into the water. After a few days I startd to realize I was a little old for spring break, maybe going with a few friends to destin, but not panama. All in all I'm glad I went, Florida is a cool place to go. I probably won't go next year, but at least I can say I did.
Here are some pics, not many, probably get in trouble for some of the ones I took.

Preperstion for the trip.

Before I go on, what is up with Florida and all the sprinklers along the raods going to the beaches, half of them were boke which covered the roads with water, my car was filthy by the time I got there, luckly i brought some qd and mfs. Blue tape helped out a lot.

Just some friends.

Well thats all folks, it was fun, next year I'm gonna take a spring break trip to AG.

Spring break is always fun and it looks like you had a great time and your car ready to make the trip. I'll be glad when all the spring breakers go back home so the traffic is not so bad.

Yea I could see how that could be a problem, sorry for adding to the traffic, what area do you live in, if you don't mind me asking.

I live in south west Florida. This time of year I stay away from the beach unless I go my boat. In a few more weeks things should be back to normal.

My best spring break ever was in Panama City Beach, FL. It was trashy, yet unrefined. What a BLAST!!!

It is a time and experience you will always look back on, and trust me, you will become much fonder of it as moments pass. Panama is what Fort Lauderdale was in the 80's before we wisked them away. The things I saw/did in the Candy Store ......
