Mustang in training Camp

Well I was trying to think of a witty title, but I guess I am not as witty as I think I am. O well, anyways.

Just wanted to share with ya'll that I finally took my Mustang to one of the best tuners, performance shops in the country. I am very excited becase she is my first car and is my little baby. O cant wait to get her back. I am getting MAF put in, and then a custom tune and possibly 3.73 gears. Then I am thinking heads, and intake and a bigger throttle body.

Thanks for reading my little silly post but I am stoked and wanted to tell everybody.

the mustang has always been a great platform for mods, and relatively inexpensive to boot. I would offer you three items as biggest bangs for buck. Gears/Converter , Headers, and Tuning.

I will get some pics up soon.

Killr, thanks for the insight. I am seriosly considering the 3.73, and the tune is already happening. Already have headers and x-pipe. For only having 2.82 gears it moves pretty quick and gets 26-28 mpg on the highway.

I eventually need some body work done and paint, and then a full suspension redo.

I think I am going to try and get a good ole boy loan from the bank of Gary.. LOL.

I am afraid to show them, as it doesn't do the car justice. It is basically stock minus a few mods. The interior is almost flawless for the car as old as it is. I will show some, but I will probably feel like the chubby girl in the bikini when I post them. Be gentle....LOL

So true, and mostly the reason I bought it, besides I love Mustangs. I bought the car for under $4000 12 years ago with little miles and have put at most $6000 in mods, gas, oil changes etc. Pretty good investment especially getting 26-28 mpg.

Tune done at Modular Powerhouse? Just a guess.

Don't fear the gear!! If I kept mine, I'd be putting 4.10's in it in a heartbeat. I have a built 5.0 differential in mine w/ stock gearing.

Look forward to hearing the numbers!
