I say keep them and drop the car. It will look much nicer without all that wheel gap.

I don't personally like them..... I say ditch them an do the center stripe on the hood of the car like some of the GT's come with

I really like them. I think the car looks plain and higher without them. I would hate a stripe down the hood.
