Tonight marks the season's beginning for NASCAR with the Bud Shoot Out. It's all the drivers that poled last year. They all race for just a win.

Then.......all this week is speed week at Daytona.

Then.......Sunday is the mack-daddy of all races.......the Daytona 500.

Finally.......Friday after next I'll be loading up for Detail Fest 2007!!!!

Man what a month!!!!

You mean Redneck racing, I mean going around in circles, I mean Nascar j/k. Not my type of racing but other family members are into it. I like true road course racing like ALMS with turns ....and how could be forget the best, BAJA 1000 , I got to go for a ride in Trophy Truck, holy hell was that insane offroad.

I don't really think they feel like they are going in a circle. Not when it's 2.5 miles at 200 MPH!!! They are expecting 3 times more viewers for the Daytona 500 than last weeks super bowl.

Got hooked last year, and now I'm a bigtime NASCAR fan. Looking forward to tomorrows race after a couple of months wait. So far I think that I like the shorter tracks better, but Daytona's 2 1/2 mile track should shed more light on it.

yeah the last superbowl was a flop. boring game, stadium wasnt even filled, i turned it off at half time.

Peyton got his mvp award so hopefully we wont have another beaurocratic super bowl again. [memories come to mind from lst year when Ben picked the ball up off of the field and put it over the goal line.... even he said he did not get it.]
