| | | What did miss. Hey guyz, I've been away for away and have not been able to do any Autogeeking, so I got a lot of reading up to to, also do to the freakin weather I haven't detailed any cars in a while, its driving me nuts, although I cleaned my car like crazy to much up for it. Anyway, here are some pics of two of my christmas presents that I finally got to play with.
This is my new detailing cabinet, pain in the ass to put together and I'll probably need another one, but now I have safe, clean place for my supplies, I still keep my MFs inside.
And here are some pics of my new hids, I went for the extreme look, taking a cut in the brightness, still they are a lot better than regular headlights. I had to take the entire bumper off to get to each headlight asembly. I thought it was going to be hell to take the bumper off, but surprisingly there are only 4 attachments, two screws and two bolts, I'm kinda freaked out now that thats the only thing holding it on. Anyway, the hids are 14k, freakin purple, no blue, with a little hint of white. The brand I chose was Pilot, only $189 for the kit and I am very impressed with the product, no foriegn languages on the box or in the instrucions, the ballast are very well built with radiotor fins and leds to show that there on, which I have never seen on any other kit. Very good customer services too. I love these things. Check it out.
Before I go I want to give another shout out to colinite super double coat wax, its been about a month since I first applied it, and since then its rain multiple time and sat in the sun, and I have not gotten on waterspot, even after a full week of rain and sun straight, this is probably one of the best waxes I've used, I love it. Well I'm off to reading past posts.

| | | Hey, welcome back. Those HID's look really clean. How long did it take to install? Also, I take it you aren't happy with the 14k. Are you going to try to get another kind since they seem to be priced pretty well? |

| | Welcome back! I really like that real HID Xenon look, unlike those you can see in aftermarket stores, full of instructions in Chinese (instead of English ), that say they are xenon, but are regular bulbs with higher voltage painted in blue with a Sharpie permanent marker. I hate those. 14K looks nice, but won't produce a lot of light output. I would have got 6k if I were you.
Anyway, $189 sound like a very good deal (replacement bulbs usually cost around $150-200).
