Re: UPS - Adverse Weather Conditions???

i feel your pain. my order is still in illinois since monday 26. being from the midwest originally i understand flooding. just wish it would move along now a week later. got a new 3 inch polisher gg and want to see it hum on headlight restoration. nicole at cust. service said today she will e mail me. ups vs fed ex both are my cosmic buddies and are drawn to my house like moths to a flame. like the fact fed ex delivers on saturdays though.

That being said if they have a terminal located anywhere near a stream or river they may have a water issue.

I attached a photo of our public park. This bridge is the only one not under water. I believe there is normally 20 feet of space below the bridge. They are expecting the park to be closed the rest of the year from all the damage.
Hey alexjn, that looks like the Krape Park bridge. If it is, I live 20 miles west of you, maybe we could get together sometime?

Definately the worst flooding I can remember. IL Rt. 78 had water over it for several miles, 3 - 4 feet deep in places. Secondary roads washed out, bridges that have never had water over them were under water. Washed out a bridge west of us, on a secondary road.

I was surprised, my UPS shipment from AG came through as promised on the 27th. Maybe it went through a different hub.

Hope you got your order by now. We really got it this time from rain/floods. So the terminal was probably not accessable even if it wasn't flooded. I saw a picture of a sink hole in Milwaukee, Wis that was 20 feet deep, and there was a Cadillac Escalade at the bottom of it. OH MY!

I agree with you about not wanting to get the run around when asking about an order, but I haven't had a problem with UPS so far.

I had 2 orders delayed this past winter due to "adverse weather". HATE IT! It's like someone telling you Santa is going to be late. We all love our AG deliveries
