| | | WHOA--An earthquake in Florida!!!!
WHOA! Did anyone else here in Florida feel the 6.0 earthquake that happened at 11am this morning 240 miles off the west coast of Florida? I asked my wife what the heck that rumbling was and then I FELT it. It was like brief, intense thunder for about 5-10 seconds. She didn't hear it or feel it and thought I was screwed up in the head! lol....
About an hour after, they came on the news and said there was a 6.0 earthquake in florida that was felt in North Carolina!
Folks, I've lived here for 30 years and that's a first for me!!!!!! I'm kind of weirded out by it  http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/...32.-90.-80.php

| | | Wow! It happened in the Gulf of Mexico. I've never heard of that before and I've lived in Texas for all but 5 years of my life. The first 30 in Houston!
I was in San Diego when they had aminor earthquake and it does feel very queer. Very disconcerting!

| | I was looking up some info and apparently Florida had some damaging quakes in the 17-1800's moreso along the Gulf Coast...........your all fawked

| | | Woah. My family's been in Florida for 5 generations now and I've never heard of an earthquake off of our coast! I didn't even think we were on a plate boundary!
