Inventory Spreadsheet

So I was cleaning up the garage a bit at my parents place which holds all my detailing products and while I was going though my self I realized I had some products that I had forgot about. Well being the kind of person I am i started to think about making a inventory spreadsheet that would have every product I have and other info like uses and simple notes. I was just wondering if anyone else uses something like this and if you do post it up!

Yes, I used to have an Excel spreadsheet which consisted of my inventory but then I got rid of it because it was more work than it was worth.

I can see it being a bit of work, but I have spreadsheets for many things. Fuel logs, maintenance, oil testing results...it must be a engineering thing....well that why my gf tells me.
