I'm a black belt. Jeet Kune Do. The very same martial Art Bruce lee Invented. I find that mixed martial arts are better training then just boxing.

I used to take martial arts, when I was like 5!! I wish I kept doing it. I just started boxing and was curious if anyone know of good places for beginners.

Believe it or not the Police Acadamy here has an excellent boxing program whether your a beginner or eventually going pro for training. Buddy of mine has been in it for years and years, not a big guy, but you can bet your ass I wouldn't want to pick a fight with him LOL.

Might want to check your local Police to see if they have a similar thing. Otherwise call a few gyms in the area and ask around if they know anything.
