Leaf blower.
Killrwheels mentioned about using a leaf blower for drying a car.
Anyone else are using it? Can you recommend me a good one, but inexpensive. Preferebly cordless.
Thanks.

becareful as most cordless do not have enough power. Saw one from Makita recently that fit the bill, other than that consider the corded powerhorses. I have the Hawg by Black and Decker.

See my post "Hair Dryer for Car" I'm asking the same question about a cordless.

I have not seen a cordless blower worth much. Toro makes a corded one that is available at Lowes for 29.95. If you have your heart set on cordless, I would go with a gasoline.

Isn't it heavy? Course maybe you and Killr and manly muscular men and not a wimp like me!
I used my old leaf blower on the Jag this morning. It does work pretty well. Especially at getting the water out from the mirrors. I have always had problems with driping water from the side mirrors no mater how hard i dry it. The leaf blower did the trick.
I think I'm going to buy a new one. someone posted a link to one made for cars. I wonder if it is any good.

Gasoline, and electrical is one louder then another? Which one would be a practical choice?

electric - whines
gas sounds like a weedeater
neither are quiet!!

Gas is by far louder. I had a mowing service at one time and had several.
They move the air much better than the electric. For drying a car, I would
be a little afraid of the gas. They move the air violently and if they pick up dirt, It is like sand blasting. The electic would be my choice.
