Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

As it's been said already, watch yourself around those critters. They do make a hell of a mess, and are pretty damned dangerous even if they don't act it. The parasites they carry in their saliva and other bodily fluids/wastes can be quite nasty. Remind your employees to not feed them, do not leave anything that can be remotely considered food out either. And make sure your dumpsters have a way to stay locked/closed. Those little bastards are smart and will figure a way in to it, without some sort of locking device.

Even if they are hanging in the woods near the warehouse, you might want to contact animal control and have them transport the them off site into a bigger woods or rural area for yours and there safety. Because now it's only a matter of time before someone either gets bit, or one of them ends up dead on the road.

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

I knew a guy that had one as a pet years ago. Nobody could come in the house as it was nasty if it didn't know you. It also tore the house up (place was a dump anyway).

They are VERY smart animals.

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

They are keeping their distance, they visit ever other day or so. I think the little one just likes to see his reflection in my car!

They still visit at least once a week... happen to stop in yesterday and dig in our dirt a bit searching for some dinner! Next time I will get you a picture, might have to name them soon, how about Fuzion, Souveran, and Max!

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

Woah, Raccoons are nocturnal...So if ya see them during they day it means they are probably desperate for food...You seemed to've dodged a bullet w/ them so far. Hopefully they don't end up in "all up in yo bizness"! Watch out for ankle bites when you get in your car too!

PS~Great pics!

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

They are cute. I've trapped 10 of the cute little a-holes in the last year. They raid the trash cans and make the back yard resemble a dump. They even bit the bungi cords in two I was using to keep the lids on the cans. I always take them to a park across the river. Some of them act like they've never ridden in the back of a pickup before. (Imagine that)

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

Just saw our raccoon family last night, mama and 4 little ones about the size in the pictures. So far they haven't caused any problems in the past few months. Fingers crossed.

Re: Even Raccoons like a good reflection

I woundn't want a raccoon climimg around my car. If they get into the warehouse they could really cause alot of damage. I hear they like to eat Souveran Paste.
