My car was hit at the mall...can you figure this one out?

So I was in the mall yesterday buying my father a birthday present, and came out to find this. I will start by saying that my car had the e-brake fully pulled, and was left in 1st gear...same with the red Acura.

Only thing I can think of is someone that doesn't like me pushed my car from the rear, into the Acura, into the explorer. The front and rear bumpers on the Acura were trashed, the explorer's quarter panel was hit hard and the taillight was broken.

Best part? NO damage to the rear of my car, and the front license plate filler has a dent so minor that you can only see it under certain lighting. So whoever was trying to mess up my car ended up messing up the other cars a lot more...

I'm more confused than mad....there's not the slightest scuff on the rear of my car so I really have no idea how this could have happened.

Oh and there were security cameras, but they don't cover that area. Great system.

What a shame Matt. Is that floor as slick as it looks in the pics? Could they have pushed it even with the brake set?

The floor was very wet...my car was in about 3/4" standing water which I kneeled down in to jack up that Acura (I jacked it up so it wouldn't come dragging down onto my bumper when I backed my car up). It still would have taken a lot of force to push a car with the e-brake pulled, in 1st gear.

OUCH! Who have yo PO'd lately? If the floor was wet, could've hydroplaned if you were moving, but from a parked position I don't think so.

Possible someone tried to steal your car with one of those dollys the tow truck drivers use to move cars out of tight spots, and it rolled, and they scrammed?

Impossible. Like I said, the Acura's front and rear bumpers were smashed, and the Explorer was hit hard...my car wouldn't have rolled underneath another car's bumper and caused all that damage under the force of just gravity.

Man that sucks! I would have flipped out if that would have happened to my car. Did it mess the tranny up any? Hopefully you find out who did it.

Everything on my car is perfectly fine with the exception of a minor dent on the front license plate filler. There's a little scratch on the bumper that I'll buff out, but as far as real damages, there's nothing. When I saw another car on top of my bumper I figured the bumper would be 100% trashed but it's fine.

I didn't really flip out since it was so confusing...it kinda went like this.

Walked out of the mall with my friend Jon...
Jon: do you remember where you parked?
Me: Yeah down this aisle
*walking*
Me: wait my car isn't here
Jon: did someone steal it?
Me: oh wait my car's right over.....there.....WHAT THE ****?!?!?!??

did they ticket anyone, or see anything ?? (I presume not) . You might find those other drivers contacting your insurance for coverage especially if it "appears" your car pushed them. Was the car in gear ?? Emergency brake on Corvettes dont work well, theres a bulletin on repair and resetting from the C5 as I remember.
