My Whippled Mystichrome Vert tuned by Excessive Motorsports

So, I should have left a little earlier to get down to Excessive. I hit traffic leaving Annapolis and most of the way around the Beltway. Darryl and
I had a blast bothering commuter traffic with loud exhaust and spirited pulls.

I need to thank the Torrey and Chris from Excessive Motorsports. They have a clean shop and the service was top notch. Torrey really goes above and beyond and Chris know his stuff. I appreciate the awesome time. Good seeing Allen, Jeff and Josh. Thanks to Don Henderson for the video, you are a great guy and I'm glad your part of MACA!

On to the good stuff! So, with a 2.3 Whipple with 3.5 upper and stock lower, 60# injectors, Mafia, JLT RAI, MAC O/R H, and Magnaflow Catback. Chris was able to set me up nicely with 542 hp and 482 tq. I was running 13.5lbs of boost and 16* of timing. We did bump the timing up and my car fell a bit, so we backed it down.

I have plenty left when the 6# lower goes on, and Torrey even had one ready for me. I should see over 600hp and 600 tq when the lower goes on. Now, onto the bad!

It took me 3.5 hours to get home, it was pouring and I coudln't rip into it.
I need new tires, Nitto slicks and rain don't work well. My car has seen rain three times since I've had it.

Best tuner in the DC area that specializes in Cobras! I've known of these guys for years!

Nice car, but the best tuner in this area or one of the best in the country is HorsepowerbyHerman(HBH). Just a little heads up my brother's 03 Cobra puts out 530/530 horsepower/torque SAE(corrected) not STD. Thats with a stock eaton, not ported, and stock lower pulley. Not taking anything away from your car it is very nice, but Excessive is nowhere near the best tuner in the area, they have a very bad reputation. I have been in the Mustang scene since the mid-80's so I know whos who in tuning.

I know of Herman and he's in Florida. He's not back yet. I know of more cars that have blown motors from Hermann's tune. One was at Excessive with only 2300 miles on the car.
Two were at other shops that i know of

Enjoy Hermann's tuning and I'll stick with Excessive.

Actually Herman is back in town now, he is in edgewater. I will enjoy the tune its obvious that it is better than yours, compard to what has been done to the cars. Like D&D said only if you new. Wasnt trying to give you a hard time just letting you know the truth. Oh and by the way JDM does all the tuning, they just download it from him, did you know that?
Also if Herman was that bad why does he have such a demand that he goes all over the country tune vehicles. Like I said wasnt giving you grief but the truth is the truth. I could give you more info but not over the forums. Good luck with the JDM tune. I am sure if you total up who has a worst track record Excessive would be at the top of the list.
