Thread subscriptions

Is there a way to turn this feature OFF? Every time I post a reply, I get Emails and have to go to the user CP to unsubscribe. I would really like to turn it off, so if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have already done a search and I have already scoured the user CP to try and figure it out.

User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode (3rd one down) -> Do not subscribe
