Does anybody know of any good software to edit pictures. For some reason my computer wont take any of the pictures that I took today.

What do you mean by "my computer wont take any of the pictures that I took today"? You can't upload from you camera to your PC?

As far as editing pictures goes, there are several good software products. Adobe Photoshop is probably the most widely used but it can be pricey. I recently found a free software that does the minor editing I need very well. It's paint.net

Yes! They wont upload from my camera. The camera I have is a Sony SLR digital A100. I dont know what the problem is. It came with a disc when we got it but for some reason it wont work on our computer. Who knows!!

We are going to try that on one of our laptops tomorrow! Hopefully it will work that way.

For many cameras, all you need is the 'Scanner and Camera' wizard which pops up as an option under Windows XP when you hook up your camera via USB (for transferring pics to your PC, not for editing). If it doesn't come up, trying powering your camera on after you connect it.

What OS are you running?

BTW, I use MS Digital Image Suite and I like it a lot.
