New York

Ok I am taking a couple of days off and sneaking up to New York city, question for my travelers. Any great suggestions on a good hotel right in the middle of it all?
I have been looking online for hours and cannot decide, I will take any info you have! LOL

Re: New York

If you are looking for a great place to eat, check out Carmine's on Broadway. You will NOT leave hungry!!!!

If you are looking for a great place to drink, check out McSorley's on East 7th st. You will NOT remember leaving :-)

I am taking notes! Thank you.
I think its going to be the Hemlsely (sp) its in a good area and the reviews all are great. Most rooms seem real tiny at NY hotels, but these seemed a bit more roomy!

Re: New York

Stay at the W right off of Broadway, then head down to Katz Deli (off ludlow) and have a great meal where Harry met Sally.

If you like Seafood hit Ocean off of Columbus 1 block away from Central Park. you can go for a walk there first

thats enough for you first weekend...let us know when you go back and i'll give you more

Re: New York

Why not stay at Motel 6? Isn't that where the Super Bowl losers stay?
