| | | Water based dressing for SUV tires Anybody have luck with a water based dressing on suv tires? I always use a gel on our trucks, in the past tried PB's Bold and Bright a few times and didn't seem to absorb into the tires (even on new clean tires). I seem to find water based ones better suited to car tires then say a/t suv tires for some reason.
But looking for a different look now, like matte sheen, anybody used water based like Surf City, Optimum etc on suv tires with luck?
aahhh frick -- wrong area lol

Just looking for a slightly different look on tires, like a nice matte sheen ala Optimum, Poorboys, but for some reason Gels were the only ones that worked good on our trucks a/t tires even when I tried some of the water based dressings on new tires. Maybe my bottle of PB BB was bad, seemed to work good on car tires.
