Got me Nikon D300

Well I got it...my D300 came last week and all I have to say is WOW it's an incredible camera. Great autofocus, metering, features and high ISO (about time Nikon!)

I also love being able to fine tune each of your lenses...no more back or front focusing! the tripod Live view works really well at getting tack sharp focus.

Anyway I'm very happy with the camera an look forward to spring and baseball season!

Whenever I see a thread like this it makes me want a DSLR. I just don't know if I'd utilize one enough to justify the cost.

If you enjoy taking pictures it's well worth it...both Canon and Nikon make great entry level DSLR that cost about the same as a higher end P&S.

Dude..very nice camera!! Love the depth of field in the shot of your son (I'm assuming). You must have got a good price on it though..in this shot it looks like your camera has its name spelled backwards...hahahhahhahahha

Awesome Camera!!! I have the D80, but the D300 looks like a big step up.
