Thanks to Mr. Orville Reddebocker, feels just like the theater Ah, what am I talking about, now we take the kids with us to the movies!!!! |
Trust me that is covered, but still not a theatre. 7 Channels of DTS, and THX Certified Power (Klipsch/Onkyo) on 40 inches of flat screen bliss from the WEGA but it still is missing something. |

I'm sure you have one.....makes an incredible difference in home theater. Maybe it's the 30-50 foot screen that's missing?? Or the $30 for soda and popcorn----and you get the candy FREE? Yeah, I agree, it's not the same but Onkyo and Klipsch should make it better---it did for me!:-) |

| | | Movie theather prices are just getting insane!! The movie theather by me has 10.00 a ticket (not matinee) and 10.50 on fri & sat nights. Doesn't make any sense why you would want to pay that money to watch a movie, but still... people do it. Including me!! Ahhh... they have powers over us which we can't fight... BTW, my friend worked at the theater, and he said for the 6.00 large popcorn, it only costs them like 10 cents!!! WTF?! |

I assume the profit for the place comes from the food sales. It cost us 3 bucks to get in, then $20+ for popcorn, candy, and drinks.
In Dallas the first run places are are $7.75 or $8.50 Friday & Saturday!

| | | It is really expensive, even the matinee is 8 bucks. They must make all their money from food sales, but why all the increases in ticket prices? |
